Governor Cooke Responds To Nationalist House Bombing
"Our state and nation will not be scared, not be defeated by the horrendous act that occured at the Nationalist House early this morning. If you are not aware of what I am talking about, I will tell you. At around a little after 8 AM, a bomb was detonated, which destroyed a major section of the Building's exterior wall, and later led to a partial collapse of the building's roof. The building has been locked down and a heavy police presence will remain in place until the conclusion of the investigation and repairs are made to the building. The nation's capital will remain under a strict lockdown for the foreseeable future."
"We will continue to fight this kind of act, and as I have always said, this doesn't represent what Jesstopia stands for, and what Jesstopia is. Our state, alongside the federal Government plan on charging the suspects with domestic terrorism and conspiring to commit an assassination of government officials."
"The federal government will have full reign of this investigation and our state fully supports the Government's investigation and the state will work with local and state law enforcement to ensure that our nation's government officials are protected during this time."
"As governor, I have the authority to divest funding from state programs to support the investigation, trials and sentencing of the terrorists who attacked our nation's capital city. I will sign several executive orders making sure that our national leaders are protected 24 hours/7 days a week."
"Residents are not allowed to enter the national capital unless they are civilian employees to the Nationalist House, Congress Building, Supreme Court, and any Government facility. This will be a measure that will remain in affect until further notice."
"Thank you as always for your cooperation during this horrific time for Jesstopian history. We will continue to keep in contact with investigators and provide state residents with updates, information and resources that are provided to the state."
"If you are in need of anything, please email the state's residency helpline at residenthelp@newshire.org or email publicrelations@governor.newshire.org. Thank you and stay safe and may godbless New Shire and the United States Of Jesstopia."
Thomas Cooke,
Governor Of New Shire
